On the evening of February 15, 2024, Craft Education Bulgaria hosted a highly anticipated Digital Skills Enhancement Webinar.

The webinar featured three main topics, each tailored to address the growing need for digital proficiency in modern educational and professional settings:

  1. Using Digital Learning Platforms Effectively: Participants explored various digital platforms that support interactive learning, with a focus on tools such as Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. The session covered practical tips for creating engaging virtual lessons and maintaining student interaction in an online environment.

  2. Mastering Office Tools and Basic Informatics: This hands-on session taught attendees how to use essential office tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to boost productivity and streamline their workflow. Both beginners and advanced users walked away with new strategies for organizing their digital workspaces more efficiently.

  3. Engaging Students with Digital Tools and Social Media: In this part of the webinar, educators learned how to effectively incorporate digital tools and social media into their teaching practices. The session provided practical advice on integrating platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Canva into lesson plans, with the goal of enhancing student engagement and creativity.

Each segment of the event was designed to be interactive, featuring live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and opportunities for participants to engage with the content in real time. Attendees were also invited to participate in Q&A sessions at the end of each topic, allowing for personalized guidance and problem-solving.

One of the highlights of the webinar was the inclusion of practical challenges, which encouraged participants to apply what they had learned. These challenges, assigned at the end of each session, allowed attendees to test their skills and receive feedback on their progress.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many educators commented on how the event provided them with valuable insights into improving their virtual classrooms, while professionals noted that the skills learned would greatly enhance their day-to-day work efficiency.

A participant shared, "This webinar was incredibly insightful. I feel much more confident using digital platforms now, and I can't wait to implement the new tools in my classroom to keep my students more engaged."

As the need for digital skills continues to grow, Craft Education Bulgaria remains committed to supporting educators and professionals in their journey toward digital fluency. This webinar was part of a larger effort to provide accessible, high-quality educational opportunities that empower individuals in the digital age.
